Follow the advice of Diddy: Vote or Die. Change your name on your voter registration so that you can vote! (You’ll need to provide proof of identity when you show up to vote, as well as when you change your name).
Find the proper form at www.state.xx.us (xx = two letter initials of your state, e.g., www.state.ct.us).
Or, you can simply send your updated name in a formal, signed letter to your Registrar of Voters at your local Town Hall.
Additionally, many states allow you to change your voter status when you renew/name-change your driver’s license.
